The Marmara University Journal of Theology is a peer-reviewed and international academic publication of Marmara University Faculty of Theology.

It is published twice a year (June and December) and is open access.

The journal evaluates studies in the form of research articles, research notes, book reviews, scientific meeting reviews, and obituary notes, primarily in classical Islamic sciences, as well as philosophy and religious studies, history, and literature, aiming to encourage scholarly production in these fields and provide a high-quality publication platform for researchers.

Articles can be published in Turkish, English, Arabic, Persian, German, and French. Bibliographies of Arabic articles must also be presented in Latin script.

Citations from the journal must always include a proper reference.
