The Journal of Pharmaceutical Research is the official scientific journal of Marmara University Faculty of Pharmacy. The journal is a continuation of the former Marmara University Journal of Pharmacy, which was published between 1985 and 1997. Since 2010, it has been published online every two months (January-March-May-July-September-November). It is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to the publication of articles in the field of pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences. The journal accepts only articles written in English for review. It aims to provide a platform for the publication of interdisciplinary articles of interest to a wide range of experts.

The Journal of Pharmaceutical Research publishes original research articles, review articles, and scientific commentaries on all aspects of pharmaceutical sciences, depending on their conceptual innovation and scientific quality. The journal welcomes articles in this multidisciplinary field focusing on drug effects, drug discovery and development, and traditional as well as emerging areas of pharmaceutical sciences. Articles unrelated to pharmaceutical topics may be returned to the authors without any processing. Scientific commentaries and review articles are generally evaluated upon the invitation or approval of the Editors. Conference papers may also be published in the journal as special or supplementary issues at the discretion of the Editors.
