About the Journal
First published in 1988, the Marmara Medical Journal (MarmaraMedJ) is an open-access, double-blind peer-reviewed, multidisciplinary academic publication of Marmara University Faculty of Medicine. The journal addresses medical developments and new treatment methods for an audience that includes general practitioners, medical students, senior general practitioners, and specialists.
The Marmara Medical Journal aims to publish original clinical and experimental research across all fields of medicine. Only unpublished manuscripts that are not under consideration elsewhere can be submitted. The journal accepts original research articles, case reports, clinical and practical applications, editorial articles, letters to the editor, and review articles (mostly by invitation). Studies focusing solely on surveys are not considered for publication.
