The Marmara Journal of Turkic Studies is an open-access, biannual, peer-reviewed academic journal committed to contributing scientific studies on the Turkic World—primarily focusing on the Turkish language, culture, literature, history, folklore, geography, and arts—to the scholarly community. In addition, the journal publishes articles on research history related to the Turkic World, document and text editions, scholarly translations and transmissions, bibliographies and chronologies, book and thesis reviews, interviews, obituaries, and news covering events relevant to the field.
