Regarding the Annual Activity Reports of Marmara University Press Journals
In order to monitor, evaluate, and improve the academic performance of our journals published by Marmara University Press, the preparation of an “Annual Journal Activity Report” is required each year. The purpose of this report is to present:
- The current status of the journal,
- Publication and review processes,
- Statistical data and impact metrics
in a standardized, comparable, and systematic manner.
The “Journal Annual Activity Report” is prepared by the relevant Journal Editorial Board. Based on the data included in the report, evaluations are conducted to enhance the journals’ formal and content quality, improve publication processes, and support sustainable academic development. In this context, the goal is to provide feedback and development recommendations to the journals through these reports.
Accordingly, it is important that the “Journal Annual Activity Report,” which will be requested through an official letter, be meticulously completed by the relevant Journal Editorial Board, signed by the academic unit supervisor, and submitted in full within the specified time frame to the Chair of the Publication Commission with a cover letter. These reports will make a significant contribution to our journal development activities, including journal identity evaluation, quality improvement, and inclusion in indexes.
